Postural Analysis
Before any exercise begins, a skilled Pilates instructor must assess alignment. You’ll learn how to use a plumb-line reference system to identify postural deviations including lordosis, kyphosis, flat back, sway back, military posture, and forward head positioning — foundational knowledge for safe, individualized instruction in any studio or clinical setting.
Fundamental Level
The foundation of your Reformer teaching practice includes mastery of core exercises such as:
- Foot Work (bilateral and single leg variations)
- 100s Prep and modified 100s
- Arm Work Supine
- Bottom Lift / Pelvic Press
- Short Box with a focus on spinal mechanics
