About Course

Course Overview:
Becoming a group fitness leader involves several transitions from an initial interest in fitness leadership to actually enrolling in courses and then to spending some time applying what you have learned-putting the theory into practice. The SPI Group Fitness Training course, accredited by EREPs and REPs UAE, is designed to facilitate such transition by providing the basic information and learning experiences necessary to become an effective group fitness instructor.

As such, leaders will gain knowledge in the field of health, fitness and lifestyle management, as well in group exercise instruction for teaching safe, enjoyable and effective Group Fitness classes. The first part of the course consists of basic instruction in the theories of fitness, anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, nutrition and weight management, and the second part emphasis on applications of fitness instruction, including group program design, use of music, choreography, leadership and group communication skills.
